
The VibroKinetic Energy mill is the most efficient fine grinding mill available. Extremely fast and very energy efficient, the VKE mill is very versatile and can be operated either wet or dry. The air injection system provided with the dry mills can be used to elutriate the material during the grind to pull sized fines out of the mill and allow the mill to grind only oversize material.
Vibratory grinding mills have been around for some time, but the VKE mill is a unique and major development in vibratory fine grinding, utilizing a tuned spring system to completely suspend the grinding chamber and the vibratory motor energy source. This design saves and reuses the "rebound" energy and permits the construction of a low cost and maintenance -free mill. The motor is attached directly to the grinding chamber and there is no power train to maintain. The motor is the only moving part in the mill. The net result is the lowest cost and most energy efficient fine grinding mill on the market today.
Vibratory mills have the advantage of generating much higher impact, or grinding forces than ball mills or other similar mills which are based on the gravity force generated by falling balls or rods impacting the material to be ground. Vibratory mills are not limited by gravity and much greater impact forces can be generated by the rapid vibration of a motor driven grinding chamber. Much larger and more frequent impacts on the material translates to faster and finer grinding. The VKE mill is remarkably fast and energy efficient, and is capable of quickly reducing very hard material to micron fineness. No special foundation is required since the energy applied is directed back into the mill and not the floor.

The Vibro Kinetic Energy (VKE) Mill is designed to fill the need for fine to ultrafine grinding mill which is both low cost and economical to operate. Optional features include air classification while dry grinding, which greatly improves the efficiency of the mill. Wet grinding with hydrocyclone recycle for accurate sizing and use of a vibratory cable for concentration of ore values is also available.
MicroGrinding Systems designs and supplies complete grinding and sizing systems for all types of materials. Systems include pre-crushers, variable speed material feeders, conveyors, dust collectors and rotary valves. Special particle size equipment available includes; standard screens, ultrasonic screens, and adjustable air cyclone classifiers. The ultrasonic screens can screen down to 600 mesh, far below normal screen capabilities, and the adjustable air cyclone classifiers can separate product streams in the 5-10 micron range at much lower cost than conventional particle size classifiers.
